Assemblea (ISSN: 2704-4610), the Online Journal of the University of Santo Tomas Department of Political Science is inviting everyone to submit their Think Pieces of critical essays covering the theme of ‘Politics and the “New Normal”‘. Submissions should fall under any of the following sub-themes:

  • Public-Private Partnership and the New Normal
  • Institutional Responses: National Government and LGUs
  • Collaborative Governance and Pandemics
  • New-Normal Political Participation
  • The Pandemic and the Marginalized
  • Human Rights in the Time of COVID-19
  • Politics of identity and the pandemic
  • Federalism and the pandemic
  • The Pandemic and National Security

Think pieces or critical essays must conform to the following format:

  • APA style of referencing
  • Font should be Arial, size 12, single space
  • Must not exceed 1,500 words
  • Limited to only three figures and/or tables

The submitted papers will be subjected to editorial review and will be published online as soon as it meets the standards of the Assemblea Online Journal.
